Jamaican Olympic sprinter Asafa Powell has taken his talents from the track to the runway by signing up with the Pulse Modelling Agency.
The agency made the announcement via their official Facebook page while Powell confirmed the news at the company’s 35th anniversary celebration at Villa Ronai in St. Andrew.
Powell, who held the 100m world record between June 2005 and May 2008 with times of 9.77 and 9.74, said, “I’m kind of signed to Pulse,” which provides an international platform for the marketing of the Caribbean’s modelling talent.
The 32 year old further added that “they have produced a lot of great models over the years and the upcoming youths, who are aspiring to become models, are helping out as well.”
Powell the ‘Sub-10 King’ is popularly known not only on the Track, but amongst the ladies for his well-cut physique, ‘treating’ his female fans to frequent photo posts on his various Social media accounts, as well as various magazine appearances.
