Cane Farmers Lose J$200 Mil Due To Fires Set By Protestors

Losses suffered by cane farmers following two days of fiery protests by residents of Little London in Westmoreland have exceeded J$200 million dollars.


The residents set fire to cane fields to protest the death of a resident.

They claimed that Kemar Powell, 23, of Delveland in the parish died after being attacked by the police.
