DRAX HALL, St Ann — Residents of several communities in St Ann are to benefit from a free health clinic and symposium on Sunday.
The health clinic and symposium, being put on by the North Jamaica Conference, in collaboration with the Adventist Health Professionals, will be held at the Drax Hall Seventh Day Adventist Church in the parish.
Director of health ministries at North Jamaica Conference, Pastor Omri Davis, said residents will benefit from several medical checks and several health issues will also be addressed during the symposium.
“We will be conducting prostate checks, breast examination, blood pressure checks, diabetic checks and of course health lectures. Most of the health issues that will be addressed are geared towards our men and women,” he said.
“We expect not just to have our church members coming out, but also members from our community who are invited to benefit from this free, life changing symposium,” he added.
