Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William, is expecting her second child and was being treated for severe morning sickness, royal officials announced today.

The couple and their families were “delighted” with the news, according to their office, Clarence House. The child will be fourth in line to the throne, pushing Prince Harry to fifth. As the sibling of Prince George, Kate and William’s first child, the baby will have the role of “spare to heir.”

Kate has not yet reached the 12-week stage of her pregnancy, and the the baby is expected to be born in the Spring of 2015.
