NWC: Scheduled Water Disruption for St. Andrew

As the National Water Commission continues the Jamaica Water Supply Improvement Project (JWSIP) works in sections of St. Andrew, customers served by the Constant Spring Treatment Plant will experience low water pressure or instances of no water condition, on Thursday, November 3, 2011 between 8:00a.m and 5:00 pm.

This disruption in service is to facilitate upgrading works that will be carried out on the treatment facility.

Areas that will be impacted by this downtime in operation include:

  • Norbrook
  • Cherry Gardens
  • Havendale
  • Lady Musgrave
  • Sections of Half-Way-Tree Road
  • Manor Park, Kingswood
  • Riva Ridge
  • Eastwood Park Gardens
  • Camperdown
  • Mannings Hill Road
  • Red Hills Road
  • Arlene Gardens
  • Roehampton
  • Smokey Vale
  • Lower Jacks Hill Road
  • Chancery Hall Heights
  • Jacks Hill
  • Tavistock
  • Trench Town
  • Essex Hall
  • Calabar Mews

The National Water Commission regrets any inconvenience caused by this necessary improvement work and urges customers in the mentioned areas to store water for use during the period of disruption.
