Tajaun Gibbison Exits The Scripps National Spelling Bee Competition in Tenth Position

The Gleaner’s Children’s Own Spelling Bee Champion Tajaun Gibbison has ended the Scripps National Spelling Bee competition in tenth position.

Tajaun incorrectly spelt the word C-H-A-R-T-U-L-A to end his run for the coveted title in Washington DC, USA.

Tajaun, who wore number 87, secured his spot on the big stage as the only non-American of the 12 finalists.
