Dear Pastor,: I am 51 and really upset. I have a niece who is 18. She came to spend two weeks with me. After one week, I started to notice how friendly she was getting with my boyfriend.
My boyfriend and I don’t live together. He visits three times for the week. Since she has been, he is here every night and she is all over him. I asked him what was going on. He said he is trying to change by coming to see me every night.
I can’t keep up at nights so I go to bed early. Sometimes I leave them in the living room. I know something is going on between them. I asked her if she loves my boyfriend and she said, yes, but not in the way I was thinking. I told her mother what I suspected and she said her daughter would never try to take away my man.
Pastor, can my niece be so bright to try to take away my man? My boyfriend said that I am crazy to be thinking that way, but I know he is thirsty for a young girl. I can see it in his eyes. I can’t wait for the two weeks to be up.
Dear H.E.,: I don’t believe you are just jealous. I believe you have seen enough to make you believe this girl has a crush on your man and he is encouraging her to fool around him. I believe he likes your niece and, if the opportunity presents itself, he would have sex with her. You have to try your best to keep up from going to bed too early, until she leaves.
You can also make a drastic decision by sending her home.
