The operators of the Linstead to Moneague leg of Highway 2000, is reminding motorists that the free access to the highway has ended as of midnight on Friday.
As of yesterday morning, there will be a charge to use the 20 kilometre stretch of road, which was officially opened early last month.
The Jamaica North South Highway Company says tolls will be collected at the Mount Rosser Toll Plaza in Treadways, St. Catherine.
Drivers of class one vehicles will pay $200, class two $420 and class 3 – $1,000. Operators of two and three wheeled vehicles, will pay $160.
Motorist were given a one month free pass on the highway.
